Job Title: Merchandiser / Merchandising manager

Responsible to: Founder and Finance Director

Working closely with senior leadership team including Design/Product, Logistics, Marketing, Ecommerce and Finance

Overview

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team to set up and manage the newly Merchandising function. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter, commercial Merchandiser with a proven track record and experience within a relevant clothing retail business

Key responsibilities:

  • Range Planning, review pasts seasons performance and build learnings into future ranges
  • Create and maintain an In-season WSSI, proposing appropriate actions to achieve targets
  • OTB management in liaison with the Product team in line with revenue targets, producing re-forecasts of sales/stock/profit for review
  • Produce weekly, monthly, seasonal and ad hoc trading reports (to include Sell Through reports at line level, continuity vs seasonal)
  • Manage EOS markdowns
  • Supporting the team to manage, making recommendations on reorders
  • Monitor and ensure recommended size ratios are maintained across styles.
  • Analyse and compare wholesale partners’ in-season performance.
  • Support and contribute to the senior leadership decision making process.
  • Customer & Brand Awareness, shows awareness of the Customer & Brand profile and reflects this in all decisions

Key Personal Competencies / Skills:

  • Highly analytical individual with Advanced Excel skills and excellent numeric ability.
  • Someone who is organised and has strong attention to detail
  • Commercially aware to maximize sales and profit opportunities
  • Passionate about your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
  • Can influence with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Previous experience within merchandising at Merchandiser level
