There is no official dress code for Wimbledon however smart-casual outfits are encouraged and people generally dress to impress (especially if visiting Centre Court!). Before we take you through our guide of what to wear, here are the things you should know to avoid...

  • No logos: Clothing with large branded logos or political statements are forbidden
  • No jeans: Use the occasion to throw on your best looks and leave the denim at home
  • Shoes matter: Avoid dirty trainers or sports shoes
  • Large bags: Handbags must be smaller than 40cmx30cmx30cm

  • Now we've been through the don'ts, lets explore what you should do, if you want to win in the sartorial style stakes at Wimbledon 2025!

    Embrace Timeless Dressing

At the tennis, timeless dressing takes centre stage. Luxe fabrics like breathable silk and breezy organic cotton will help you feel effortlessly elegant all day even in warm temperatures. Our Summer 25 dresses feature refined silhouettes, chic prints, and sophisticated neutrals that exude a sense of timeless style. Reflect the stars on the court in a chic all white ensemble or embrace the seasons colour palette and opt for emerald greens, bright pinks and deep blues to really make a style statement and stand out from the crowd.

While a dress is the obvious choice for a day at the tennis, many will also opt for chic skirt and top co-ords and sharp tailoring in linen and cotton as fresh alternatives. As it's an outdoor event that goes on into the evenings, a jacket, cardigan or shawl to throw over yourself is a sensible idea. Our smart bouclé jackets make the perfect layering pieces for outdoor events this summer, and our cashmere cardigans are ideal as a more slimline option for balmy evenings.

    Emphasize Comfortable Footwear

Wimbledon is one of the only British sporting events where you can still buy tickets on the day and many dedicated spectators join the famous queue in order to secure a spot. With this in mind, comfort is key! It can be a long day on your feet on a mixture of grassy and concrete surfaces, so opt for stylish yet comfortable footwear options, such as a chic ballet flat, espadrille wedges or low-heeled sandals. These versatile shoes will keep you at ease while navigating the grounds and cheering on your favourite players.

    Accessorise with Grace

Don't forget the finishing touches! Complete your tennis ensemble with carefully curated accessories that add a touch of grace to your look. Think statement earrings, delicate necklaces or fun rings to amp up your look. Bags are limited to one per person and they must not be bigger than 40cmx30cmx30cm, so choose wisely! A small cross-body is ideal for this, in a straw basket weave or chic leather style, they're perfect for the essentials (lipstick, SPF, card & phone) and are easily accessible. Don't forget to protect yourself from the sun too with a chic pair of sunglasses.

    Hat Etiquette

While hats are not a requirement at Wimbledon, they can be a stylish addition to your ensemble. If you choose to wear a hat, select one that complements your outfit and reflects your personal style, but make sure it's not too oversized so as not to block the view for fellow spectators. A fun headband will brighten any look (check out our collaboration with Jess Collett Milliner for some gorgeous headbands that work perfectly with our Summer 25 dresses!), while a floppy sunhat or chic Panama will protect you from harsh rays, if the sun makes an appearance!
