Job Title: Pop-up store manager


Overview

Luxury women’s label, Cefinn, is looking for an experienced, talented and enthusiastic individual to work with us at our pop-up store in Chelsea, London. If you are confident, have a love for fashion, and can demonstrate strong leadership skills in a retail environment then this could be a great opportunity for you to learn and develop your skills within a fast-growing brand.

Supporting a modern professional woman, the Cefinn collection fills the gap in the market for fashion-forward pieces that work hard for busy women. The ultimate day-to-evening urban wardrobe, the collection is office appropriate with a creative fashion edge.

Cefinn aims to provide a fantastic shopping experience to all our customers, therefore the right candidate needs to be able to engage with our customers in a natural and genuine way and demonstrate a love for the brand.

Our ideal candidate will have no less than 2 years of retail and/or customer service experience within the premium or luxury retail sector and have a good knowledge of the fashion industry.

Our Pop-Up shop will trade for 7 days a week over a period of 10 weeks.


Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Drive sales and targets and deliver a superior customer experience
  • Care for and service our customers in the store
  • Ensure that the visual merchandising is consistently at highest level
  • Plan, lead and manage the daily operations in the store to ensure store productivity, sales and profitability goals are achieved and exceeded


Candidate’s background 

  • Is passionate about fashion, driving sales and creating results
  • Has a solid and proven background in premium or luxury retail with at least 2 years’ experience in store management and leading a team
  • Has excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication to fit the audience
  • Can lead by example; by being a role model to your team and colleagues and act as an ambassador for the Cefinn brand
  • Is structured and well-organized, with the ability delegate effectively and take decisions to drive the business
  • Is fluent in English

Job Title: Senior Management Accountant / Financial Controller

 

Reporting to: Finance and Operations Director

 

Overview 

We are looking for a bright and highly organised individual to support and develop our Finance team. This role will be a crucial part of a small, dynamic and fast growing team based in West London. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the accounting function, ensuring books and records are maintained to business and legal requirements, and for developing and maintaining the company’s reporting structure, including sales performance and cost budgets, among other tasks. The right candidate will not only have the opportunity to grow within the role and company, but also enjoy valuable exposure to different areas of the fashion industry, such as production, wholesale, e-commerce and investor relations.


Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Day-to-day responsibility for the accounting and book keeping functions, ensuring books and records are maintained to business and legal requirements
  • Weekly bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliations of accounts
  • Invoicing and reconciling payments from Wholesale accounts
  • Closely monitor AR/AP functions to maintain effective cash-flow
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts in timely and accurate manner for key stakeholders and Board
  • Year-End accounts preparations for outsourced accountant
  • Production of monthly review pack
  • Manage audit process closely with Head of Finance and Operations
  • Preparation and filing of VAT Returns
  • Payroll processing and HR support
  • Collect sales data and present findings to the team in weekly reports
  • Support Finance and Operations Director in strategic work
  • Maintain fixed asset registers
  • Assist in various treasury functions including cash flow monitoring, foreign currency dealings and treasury administration duties


Candidate’s background 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the Finance, Accounting or Economics field
  • Experience from similar role, ideally within the Retail Sector
  • Comfortable working with financial enterprise software; prior experience working in Brightpearl is highly meriting
  • Advanced user of Excel and all MS Office applications
  • Highly accurate, and meticulous eye for detail
  • Part- or newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, AAT or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, UK GAAP

Job Title: Wholesale & Showroom Manager


Reporting to: Finance & Operations Director

 

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage and grow our wholesale business. Alongside managing relationships with major department stores and boutiques in the UK and internationally, the Wholesale & Showroom Manager will manage our showroom in west London for Wholesale as well as by appointment / VIP customer sales.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the Wholesale channel  

  • Plan, implement and run a successful international wholesale strategy
  • Ensure the professional running of end to end processes of the department including order taking, administrative, logistics and financial matters
  • Manage relationships with new and existing buyers throughout the season
  • Present new collections to premium retail buyers both in London and internationally (organise showroom, schedule and manage appointments, lias with buyers and take orders)
  • Oversee customer orders, deliveries and shipments, ensuring they are fulfilled correctly and on time
  • Monitor customers’ stock levels, sell through and performance and quickly act on information to place reorders, make possible stock rotations or other sales driving activities
  • Ensure the brand is represented in line with the company’s ambitious standards 
  • Organise and carry out store visits, staff training, and in store events and brand building promotions
  • Develop and work towards budgets and sales target in agreement with the directors of the company to ensure profitable growth
  • Present sales reports and findings to the team on a regular basis
  • Prepare and present sales analysis and reports, with style information that can be useful to merchandising and design teams to forecast development and consumer behaviour
  • Research new markets and prospective clients and together with directors develop and implement wholesale growth strategies
  • Ensure information in the ERP as well as CRM system is constantly updated
  • Work closely with the shipping and logistics team (external warehouse partner) to ensure timely deadlines are met

 

Manage the London Showroom

  • Manage our showroom in West London, ensuring current and coming collections are always presented in the best possible way
  • Manage private sales events (invite only) in the showroom, with support from customer service and admin team
  • Manage weekly “by appointment” and VIP sales in the showroom, with support from customer service and admin team
  • Together with the marketing team, constantly work on developing the showroom to ensure we get ideal customer exposure through its function

 

Candidate’s background

  • At least 3 years’ experience of wholesale management in the premium / luxury fashion sector
  • Excellent knowledge of global premium / luxury wholesale sector
  • Strong network of wholesale accounts in the UK and internationally
  • Experience working with major US accounts is highly meriting
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and all MS Office applications
